Lab Lead at the Department of AI and Data Science, METU Computer Center (BİDB). Leads the department's two research laboratories, Agent OS and Human–AI and Interaction. The department's Principal Investigator is Özgür Kaya.
Leads both of the department's laboratories: Agent OS, which studies the runtime foundations autonomous agents need — execution environments, persistent memory, identity and permission models, auditability and multi-agent coordination — and Human–AI Interaction, which studies interaction and communication norms between people and AI systems and their effects on teams and institutions.
Responsible for the department's on-campus AI capability: the METU language model service built on open-weight models with OpenAI-compatible endpoints, GPU compute for research groups, hosting for research services, and technical guidance for faculties and administrative units evaluating AI.
